Portland to Marseille

June 20, 2007: We left Portland International Airport at a reasonable hour, traveling via Delta to Atlanta and then via Air France to Charles de Gaulle International Airport. The airport just outside of Paris was under construction and we taxied to a satellite terminal from which we had to take a long bus ride to the terminal. We had to rush through de Gaulle airport to catch a connection flight to Marseille, our final air destination. We noticed many groups of musicians in the airport and didn't learn until later that it was Fete de la Musique.

We left at 11:30am on the 20th and arrived in Marseille at 2:10p on the 21st
